I plan to take the Flight evolution for my eidolon at 5th level, and the "Death from Above" feat for my summoner. I hope that I am wrong, but I think that the bonus would apply only to the summoner's attack, not to the eidolon's attacks, even though the summoner is riding the eidolon. In order to get the bonus on the eidolon's attacks, the eidolon would need the feat.
Usually, when I hope I am wrong, I am right.
You're Eidolon is a seperate creature with it's own feats.
If you want it to get the benefit of death from above, it must take the feat.
Pretty straight forward.
