Eidolon’s evolution pool points for Half Elf

I'm playing an Half elf Summoner and I exchanged the standard fav class bonus to the Half-Elf bonus add +1/4 to the eidolon’s evolution pool.

Now do Half Elfs get the extra points at LEVELS 1 4 8 12 16 20 or is it
4 8 12 16 20? Just wondering.

the latter, I am pretty sure. I see no reason why you'd get a full point at lvl 1.

every complete 4 levels you exchange your favored class bonus to get extra points, it means you will get no benefit the first 3 levels, but the wait is worth it.

Yup. If you take the 0.25 evolution point at each level you would have:

(Level: Points)
1: 3.25 (functionally the same as 3)
2: 4.5 (functionally the same as 4)
3: 5.75 (functionally the same as 5)
4: 8
5: 9.25
6: 10.5
7: 11.75
8: 13
etc.
