This is a pure cheese question on if it's legal and a magus can get away with it -
Can a Magus use any martial 2 handed weapon and also get in his spell combat / spell strike?
Example: Elf with the Curve blade, Elven.
He takes one hand off the hilt, uses his spell combat / spell strike feature, then grabs the Curve Blade, elven in 2 hands and attacks with it.
Wondering if it's legal and if so, how many GMs would allow it.
Brought this up becouse I've been reading through some TWF guides that suggest taking a double weapon because you can use them 2handed when you only get one attack in (such as a AO). Getting your STR+(STR1/2) bonus in.

Spell Combat (Ex): At 1st level, a magus learns to cast spells and wield his weapons at the same time. This functions much like two-weapon fighting, but the off-hand weapon is a spell that is being cast. To use this ability, the magus must have one hand free (even if the spell being cast does not have somatic components), while wielding a light or one-handed melee weapon in the other hand.
Spell Combat would not allow it, but I think spellstrike does. It does not say you have to use a one-handed weapon or light weapon for spellstrike

makes me wonder: Can you use a great sword as one attack 2 handed and kick someone as your two weapon fighting second attack?
-2 to both attacks, only half damage on the kick, but 1 1/2 str on the sword attack.
Yes, but only x1 strength with the greatsword. Still boosts power attack though.
