And yet another.

Infected Wounds (Su): The target’s wounds become infected (Fortitude negates). The target takes 1 point of Constitution damage per day. After the first day, the target may save once per day to cure the infection. This is a disease effect.

It doesn't say so, but the name of the ability kind of insinuates, but does this hex only work on those that have hit point damage? I mean, it'd be hard to infect a wound that doesn't exist on a perfectly healthy person.

Even if they healed, it would obviously still infect them as its in their body at that point, and only something that can cure a disease can get rid of it.

No, this hex only works on targets that have a constitution score. There is nothing in the hex that requires the target to take damage before using the hex, it just gives them a disease.

The only way to get rid of this effect is to make the save or have something that cures the disease, anything else just keeps bleeding away their constitution.

oh I'm aware about all that, it's just the name kind of suggested there be actual WOUNDS on a person to infect first.
