Can you prepare domain spells with "regular" spell slots?

Rules Questions

Are you allowed to use "regular" cleric spell slots to prepare and cast your domain spells? For example, you want to be able to cast your domain spell more than once in a day. Or you may want to prepare the domain spell from both domains at a given level. Thanks for any help.

Thanks. I don't know how I missed that.

Nope. Unless you are using the Theologian archetype, which specifically allows this.

Other ways to get around the limitation are Greater Spell Specialization or Preferred Spell. Both should work on domain spells, as far as I know.

If you have a favorite domain spell that you cannot cast as a cleric there are a couple of ways to get more of that spell.

1) Pearl of Power
2) Memorize the spell in a higher level slot.

Example: A cleric with the Defense subdomain want to cast Shield more often per day. She buys two Pearls of Power 1 and uses them to reclaim shield after each casting (effectively: 3x a day). The cleric also wants to cast Barkskin more often but doesnt have the money for a Pearl of Power 2 so she takes her 3rd level domain slot and memorized barkskin in that slot(total: 2x a day).
