The Eye of Abendego: What Body of Water?

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

Is the Eye of Abendego located in the Fever Sea, or the Arcadian Ocean? I've read entries from various sources indicating one or the other, but have never found a statement that definitively places it in either body of water.

It's technically located in the Gulf of Abendego.

Do you have a source for that, Thorkull? A search of the site indicates this is the first time a 'Gulf of Abendego' has been mentioned on the forums. There's also no mention of it in the Inner Sea World Guide, the Campaign Setting, the Gazetteer, Isles of the Shackles, or Pirates of the Inner Sea.

Lost Kingdoms calls it the Abendego Gulf.

Clearly, whatever killed Aroden is hard at work trying obfuscate any mention of the Abendego Gulf.

Thanks gang, found it in a few locations. No mention of what body of water the Gulf used to belong to, though, so my initial question still stands. :D

The body of water the Gulf used to belong to is indeed the Gulf of Abendego (or the Abendego Gulf). Today, the phrase "Eye of Abendego" is used interchangeably to refer to the storm above AND the waters below, which is why we don't mention the Gulf of Abendego in the Inner Sea World Guide... it's one of the countless bits of historical lore that we just didn't have room to include since we tried to favor modern lore in most cases.
