Monk, Cleric or a mix?

Advice

hey guys i just was hoping for some advice I'm gonna start skull and shackles in about a month or so and I'm torn i have picked the race for sure and my alignment (Dhampire[with fangs], lawful evil)but I'm torn between a few ideas

first of all i want to be a blood sucker and what my original idea was i would take a monk dip right away then go into undead lord cause i like the idea of being a necromancer i needed the monk dip for the blood drinking feat (its easier to grapple and bite then to knock someone out then bite them) so that was one idea, then i thought about going all undead lord and slowly get the feats to drink someones blood but that idea seems slow for me. then my newest idea is to be full monk and explain the monk ability's and strength as my vampire blood becoming more prominent in me vampire speed (flurry of blows, and increased movement)claws (damage dice monks get) and so on i think i was kind of a good fit but i would like to hear what you think.

so I'm just wondering what you guys think of the ideas and what would work best for me (i personally have not taken a dip in another class cause it seems a bit underpowered)

So, do you want be good at grapple, or control lots of undead?

It's not actually easier to grapple enemies in many cases than it is to knock them out. PCs often face enemies that are both larger and stronger with lots more HD, which gives them CMB/CMD something fierce. You can give it a good shot, but it'll take some focus.

So it's up to you to decide which part of your concept is more important.

If you want to drink the blood from conscious foes squirming in your grasp, go Monk.

If you want to control the undead and then have a nightcap (or daycap, if you want to act nocturnal), go for Cleric.

What blood drinking feat is he referring to?

A monk dip will not make you significantly any better at grappling, save in giving you the bonus feat, unless you take at least three levels. Then the difference is whopping +1 to your effective BAB. Not much is it?
