What's worth getting?

I'm looking to buy Blood of Fiends on Amazon (I have a gift card). With about $15 more in my order, I can get free Super Saver shipping. What other additional resources are worth getting? In your experience, what non-hardbacks are the easiest to get a lot of mileage from in PFS play?

Sovereign Court

I like the Country Specific publications (Taldor: Echoes of Glory, Qadira: Gateway to the East, etc).

Do you have Seekers of Secrets a Guide to the Pathfinder Society or Pathfinder Society Field Guide?

The Exchange

Uhm...this is a very loose definition of "additional resource, non-hardback", but I'm looking forward to eventually gathering the will to summon these sweet mount bases into my meager collection.

Along the same vein as Painlord, the Pathfinder Condition Cards are a great resource for a GM to have.

Blinded? Here's a card that shows exactly what the effect is.

Covers lots of effects.

I have SoS and PFSFG. Not familiar with that middle one, though.

@Kinevon: Already have those fantastic condition cards. :)

I was thinking about Adventurer's Armory, but wondered if it might be pointless with Ultimate Equipment coming out in August...

Actually, the full title of Seeker of Secrets is Pathfinder Chronicles: Seekers of Secrets—A Guide to the Pathfinder Society (PFRPG), so Dragnmoon was just using the full, unfettered title for SoS.

AA is nice, I own it, but it is, indeed, hard to say how much overlap there will be between AA and UE.

Some interesting resources:

Classic Horrors Revisited
Classic Monsters Revisited
Classic Treasures Revisited

Any/all of the country guides:
Andoran, Spirit of Liberty
Cheliax, Empire of Devils
Osirion, Land of Pharoahs
Qadira, Gateway to the East
Sargava, the Lost Colony
Taldor, Echoes of Glory

Any of the race guides:
Dwarves of Golarion
Elves of Golarion
Gnomes of Golarion
Humans of Golarion

Flip-mats:
As appropriate for any scenarios or modules you run repeatedly, like the maps for any of the First Steps scenarios.

Well Adventurer’s Armory is almost a Must Have..

Faiths of Balance/Corruption/Purity are very useful to have for any character that worships a God.

And Inner Sea Primer though you can do without if you have Inner Sea World Guide for the fluff, it does have many Traits and 3 archetypes (Brevoy: Aldori Swordlord, Qadir a: Dawnflower Dervish and Taldor: Rondelero Duelist.

Inner Sea Primer is good addition to a collection, but it is better for those that can't afford Inner Sea World Guide.

Liberty's Edge 5/5

I'd say Adventurer's Armory first as any character can use them.

For PFS, the country books and the faith books are really only useful for if you have a character from that country or worshiping a god in that book.

Inner Sea Primer is useful for country based traits.

Sovereign Court

If you run public games where you get new players running the iconic pregens, the Heroic pack of minis is also a nice add on to give the pregens a bit more life for new players.

I think you should spend the $15 on a gift for someone..

Tiefling, actually, and it's still in transit.

Another thought (in a similar vein to Kyle's gift idea) is to get something that will improve the experience I can provide for my players, such as minis or maps.

Shadow Lodge 5/5

I still have the Tiefling! Muahahaha!

I'm a big fan of the "Faiths of..." books myself, but Adventurer's Armory is a very solid suggestion.

My only big caveat for Adventurer's Armory is that Ultimate equipment is now SO CLOSE to coming out... I would feel I could have grabbed something else instead.

Shadow Lodge 1/5

If Ultimate Equipment has 3 different types of coffee and 7 types of Inner Sea booze like AA, there are not words to describe how much I want it.

I just hope there are 0th level spells to make alcohol... I have a few characters of certain deities who would totally use a spell slot for that!

Well, someone went and anonymously gifted the Blood of Fiends PDF to me, so I'm no longer looking to fill out an order to get the free shipping. Still, the prospect of upping my GMing seems good, so I might take some of these ideas anyway. Thanks everyone!

I guess it's too late to suggest for this time, but you should get the Cheliax book. It has Burning Disarm, which is an awesome spell. It very well might make you never want to use Grease again.

That's terrible. They can just voluntarily fail the save take an irrelevantly small amount of damage and keep fighting. I'll stick with grease, thanks.

I've seen Burning Disarm work wonders for low level characters. It can change the tone of a battle if the BBEG is melee and is low on hit points. As a judge, do you decide to take the "small amount of damage" and possibly take out another PC, or drop the weapon and strangle the caster with your bare hands. :)

Back to the "what to get", since I've been running a lot more scenarios recently, I'm definitely going to get the Buff and Condition decks. We have at least one cleric at each table I judge, so the Buff deck will come in handy.

you just need more characters... and you have to burn thru all those fame points bringing you back, how much is a True Resurrection anyway?

one good thing, slots at BairdCon would be only 3 hours long, and often you would have time after the game to walk thru the dealers room ("Hay, this guy sells frames for character sheets! they already have the black ribbons around the frame, with little gold lettering R.I.Ps.... Ps? oh, Pieces")- maybe even have time to attend the auction.

Not that I have every played for Mr. Baird. (sir!)

You might want to try this Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Bestiary Box

They also have the Rise of the Rune Lords versions coming out for these and the NPC Codex version coming out for this too. It is a nice set up if you don't have a large budget for lots of miniatures and they are MUCH better then the Pogs I gave you earlier during a GM session you ran :)
