Stop playing only a class, play a full character?
A character is much more than the sum of its abilities, so go back to the mechanics you liked best and redo the mechanical concept as a different character. If you want difference, give your character personality traits that are opposed to your own (or at least different from your own) and have a blast with it!
Through the eyes of a different character, the same abilities will have a different flavour, I promise you.
If you're looking for purely mechanical options, explore the APG classes and archetypes. The Gunslinger can give old fantasy concepts a little shake, or ninja your rogue up!

I'd recommend specializing classes in something they aren't necessarily built for. Utility Fighter/Paladin, Combat Brute Rogue, Scout-like Spellcaster, and Blaster Divine class are all some of my favorites, but you can do whatever you want, really.
My next few character ideas are as follows:
Samsaran Paladin (Plays like a Divine Bard)
Dhampir Inquisitor (Their new archetype in the ARG is SUPER cool)
Halfling Cavalier (Again, the ARG made this a STELLAR choice)
Tengu Druid (Specializing in all things Eagle and Flight related)
And maybe a Bard variation. The Undine Bard archetype is REALLY good, but I could always give Dwarf a shot at it. Who knows? It could work >_>
