I'm curious if there is anyone using any 3rd party material for Jade Regent - I see threads on 3pp material on other APs, what about this one?
My bias of course regards Kaidan material from Rite Publishing. I'm thinking the three In the Company of supplements for Kappa, Tengu, and Henge, as well as the two faction guides for Yakuza, and Samurai. Even #30 Haunts for Kaidan seems a perfect fit for Minkai.
The two mapped locations from the back of Way of the Yakuza and Way of the Samurai seem ideal side ventures while in Minkai.
In Kasai, the capital of Minkai and the location for The Empty Throne adventure mentions a Yakuza gang controlling the north western parts of the city, though no stats are provided. Chapter 3 of Way of the Yakuza features a yakuza gang stat block system using rules similar to the city stat block from the Gamemastery Guide. I think it's the ideal tool to build an interesting gang of criminals for side activities while in Minkai. (Note: I designed the map of Kasai for this AP, so I know that the yakuza are there - I put them there.)
I'm sure there are other 3pp products for over the top of the world activities and other aspects of Jade Regent.
What 3pp material have you been using for this AP? Would you be willing to use 3pp material for this?

Personally, I'd be kind of interested in the Yakuza supplement for when we enter Minkai. Of course I'm just playing in it, not running it so I'd have to show my GM.

Whoops! Here ya go - Way of the Yakuza supplement.
No problem. Admittedly, if my Varisian bard from Riddleport bites the big one in the current game I'm in (which given his penchant for biting off more than he can chew + falling for dangerous women, it is entirely possible), I have mused on making either a Yojimbo inspired fighter or an onmyoji from Minkai. I'll have to take a look at the Way of the Samurai book and check out more.
Yojimbo is a ranger archetype in Way of the Samurai, almost an alternate class with many replaced class features. I think having 5-7 levels of this, then taking the Moso prestige class, really captures the yojimbo concept well.
Of course the Onmyoji wizard archetype from the same supplement is a very cool class as well. Both are among my favorite archetypes from Way of the Samurai.
Of the 3 samurai archetypes, my favorite is the Yabusame (archer samurai) with a specialization in accuracy and distance, moreso than volume shooting. Many of his abilities are standard actions - so single shots with awesome properties.
