Combat applications for Macs

Silver Crusade

Our group currently uses Kyle Olsen's Combat Manager for our Pathfinder sessions, and it's been working well for us so far. It's been working so well, in fact, that one of our players wants to use it for their own campaign. However, this player uses a Mac, so he needs a different program to use.

Does anyone know of any other good combat programs out there for Mac computers?

Bump.

I just posted most of this below under the VTT post, but you could check to see if it runs on WineBottler. Not every windows app does, but it's pretty simple to install and test it out.

As a shameless plus for Fantasy Grounds, we have a very robust combat tracker included in the base ruleset 3.5E and Pathfinder both supported and this runs perfectly under Wine.

If you are already happy with the combat tracker you know, I'd recommend trying that first. To get Winebottler installed, just follow these steps and then you can run the installer for the existing combat tracker and it will ask to run it in a generic bottle or to create a custom one.

The easiest way to get the latest WineBottler release installed onto OS X is to use either MacUpdate http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/33367/winebottler or directly from the developers website http://winebottler.kronenberg.org/.

Installing WineBottler 1.2.3
1. Open the download WineBottlerCombo_1.2.3.dmg file to mount it
2. When the disk image window opens, drag the Wine and WineBottler apps to your Applications folder
3. Close the and unmount the disk

Thanks for that. I really appreciate the information and I think my friend will too. Fantasy Grounds also seems awesome so I'll have to look into that some more.
