Grand Lodge

The beast has 8 feats and I am wondering where and how the Beast went from no feats as a golem to 8 feats as a 6th level barbarian.

Anyone able to lend any insight?

Golems don't have feats because they are mindless. Beast is not, therefore he has feats. Since he has 15 HD, he gets 8 feats, at 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 9th, 11th, 13th and 15th HD, just like any other character would.
