If a party member makes a wish on their turn, can an ifrit wishcrafter sorcerer cast the appropriate spell as an immediate action or does he have to wait til his turn to cast it?

There's no action listed in the entry and it seems like the ability would be disastrously weak if you can only grant one wish per character per 24 hours that requires your one standard action per round to perform it. Anyway, unbiased interpretations welcome. :)

The caster must wait untill his turn. Also, they wish does not need to be made on the wish speakers. Since speech is a free action that can be done at any time (within limits) the wish can come on the caster's turn.

It's not really disastrously weak. Basically it amounts to a +1 caster level to your spells x times per day. The only restriction is that you can't have yourself as a target, but you don't need to target the person making the wish, you can just as well use it with offensive magic given an appropriate wish ("I wish our enemies would burn!", etc)

The ability gets most fun when you can use it directly against enemies with Heart's Desire, though, especially once they start getting penalties to their saves. Looks like it could be so much fun, with the right GM.
