I realize that this kind of topics were questioned a lot, but I just can't get the feeling of some things if they are right, so I am asking it in this topic.
People often asked how often can some class prepare spells a day. Some classes seem obvious , such as wizard. He needs 8 hours of sleep + 1 hour of memorization of spells through study.
Some classes such as cleric, can memorize spells only once per day and in specific time of day.
This is a point where it just doesn't get into my brain, why is wizard so privileged to get a chance to memorize spells 2-3 times a day while most of other classes seem to gain them 1/day?
I know that people might debate it that they usually do other stuff during the day but it just doesn't seem to cut it if the world is highly combat oriented or such.
Is it really supposed to work like this?
Am I missing something?

The wizard can still only prepare each slot once per day no matter how often she lies down for eight hours. As the class description says, "A wizard can cast only a certain number of spells of each spell level per day." It's just that she also has the eight-hour rest and hour-long study break as additional prerequisites.
(Also, have you ever tried waking up from an eight-hour sleep, spending two or three hours active, and then lying down for eight more hours of sleep? Unless you've been sleep-deprived on the runup to it, you're not going to get back to sleep for eight hours no matter how exciting your fifteen-minute adventuring day was.)

You can choose not to memorize all your spells and leave some spell slots open, but I think those then take 15 minutes to fill, more if its over 1/4 of your spells for the day. You are still restricted to the number of spells you can cast that day (ie you can't use all your spells and then spend an hour to get them all back).
