I asked this in the product discussion for the Rise of the Runelords Deluxe Edition but I figure this might be a better place for my question.
I recently asked the best customer service department on this planet to suspend my subscriptions until August 1st as I'll be moving to a new address. My question is, if I preorder the deluxe edition of the Rise of the Runelords annivesary book while my subscriptions are suspended (not cancelled!), will the adventure path discount take effect as soon as my subscriptions are back online? Or will I have to wait until my subscriptions are back online if I want to take advantage of the discount?

While your subscriptions are suspended, you are effectively unsubscribed. Anything that happens entirely during the suspension, happens as if you are a non-subscriber.
However, the important time for the RotR hardcover is when it ships. If it ships out while your subscriptions are suspended, then you are not eligible for the subscription benefits. But if it ships after your subscriptions have resumed, then you get the benefits. The Deluxe edition of the RotR will be shipping in November. So if you have resumed your subscription by November then you'll be fine. However, the regular Anniversary edition is being released at PaizoCon and is, therefore, shipping out late next week.
Also remember that we only charge for something when it ships, but an authorization for the amount of the order may be put through on your card when the order is created. Assuming your subs are resumed when the order actually ships, your discount should kick in.
If you create your order without your Pathfinder Advantage, you may get an authorization (and resulting hold on funds) in the undiscounted amount. We don't have much control over whether your bank decides to hold and/or release funds, but let me know if this becomes an issue and I can do what I can.
I think that's all the various ramifications to consider.
thanks,
cos

Thanks, you answered my question and then some. :)
This whole suspension business does put me in an uncomfortable situation regarding the regular anniversary edition since I'll lose out on the free PDF for that one.
Oh well, can't win 'em all I suppose.
Anyway, thanks for the very detailed answer to my question. Much appreciated.

On the plus side, if your AP sub is active when the Deluxe Edition ships, you'll get the free PDF then!
