Just wanted to throw this out there since I know you guys are working on stuff for tablets & phones.
PLEASE put up .pdfs of your RPG rulebooks already optimized for mobile. It cuts the size by two-thirds and massively speeds up loading times for tablets.
In Acrobat Pro X, simply open the original file, go to File -> Save As -> Optimized PDF -> Choose Mobile from the dropdown box next to "settings" and make sure transparency is unchecked on the left side.
5 to 10 minutes later you have the same PDF, that looks the same on the tablet, except instead of 65mb for the core rulebook, we'd be at 25mb or so.
Just an idea, but you guys are doing a great job. It's appreciated, keep it up!

Do the new "lite" PDFs have the same utility or is this something else? I find the new versions a significant improvement on the iPad.

The "optimize for mobile" thing isn't a silver bullet, and does not always, in fact, reduce the file size. Our Lite PDFs involve quite a bit more than that—we actually simplified the background image, among other things.
