Can you draw/drink potions with a light shield, or only with bucklers?
"A light shield's weight lets you carry other items in that hand, although you cannot use weapons with it."
I am actually not sure.
BUT, the light shield allow you to spend a free action to shift hands on your weapon, holding (not wielding) it in your shield hand, making the other hand free to draw and drink. Afterwards you spend a free action to change hands again.
Effectively the same thing.
