Hello everyone,
if on the Harrowstone / Haunts or Whispering Way Research Topics a character has a high score, do you reveal and also give the XP points of the lower listed Skill Checks?
For example a character rolls a 20 do you also reveal the 15 and 10 information pieces and give out the total XP Points of 200+100+50?
Thank you
Markus

Markus, I have chosen in my campaign to hand out the lowest as-of-yet-unknown bit of information. But I make a note to tell the player that you think they could learn more from subsequent study and I don't let them roll it again until the next day or using a different library.
So if the player was using the Professor's library for the (if I recall) +2 Knowledge, and gets a high roll (this happened in my first session) I merely gave them the DC10 info. I then told them that they probably could learn more if they studied it further but they'd have to do it another day or use another library. My PCs were OK with this, while it's a bit contrived.
