Some general combat questions.

Rules Questions

Hello, I am somewhat new to everything and I am also a new GM. So far, things have been going very smoothly, the group I have is serious and I am ready to start challenging them. However, I still have some questions about a few combat mechanics.

First about stealth. Example given, a character throws a dagger from the concealment of some bushes, could he still remain stealthed if the character he is attacking was unaware of him in the first place, and what would it take for him to be revealed if so?

Second, looking at the class section of the rulebook, I see the BAB changes a bit as characters progress, for example a level 15 bard has a BAB of +11/+6/+1. What does this mean, is he allowed 3 attacks?

Please ask me to clarify of necessary I thank you in advance for help.

Yes. He is allowed multiple attacks per round, each with lesser chance to hit. See Stealth skill: Sniping for the effects of attacking while concealed.

Dagger throw- you can stay stealthed, but you have to make a stealth role at -20 (snipe, its a subsection in the core rulebook). sniping takes a move action.

yes he will get 3 attacks IF he takes a full round action. Otherwise he gets 1 attack. So he can move and make 1 swing or he can standstill and make 3 swings. That is a little overgeneral maybe but accurate.

Thank you very much, I seem to have never read the stealth skill description which is a little surprising to me. Hm well, thank you again for clarifying
