Flying mini markers (or, "can you vague that up for me?")

Miniatures

Someone, somewhere, at some point recently, was showing me these awesome markers they have for flying minis. They're tall clear cylinders with heights marked on them, and a band to show what the altitude of the flying creature is. I remember the brand name being "Mr Magnificent" or "Dr Marvelous" or ... something?

Basically I'm drawing a complete blank. Does anybody know what I'm talking about, and if so, what the website is?

Sovereign Court

I want some. I need it for this character.

Sovereign Court

You see it advertized in kobold quarterly a lot, I'll go look it up.

Sovereign Court

Dr. Wizard's Patented Elevation Indicator.

The manufacturer has some other interesting stuff for sale too - http://www.emeraldsemporium.com/Steampunk.html

Yes! Thank you!

Personally, I like these. Haven't had a chance to use them, but they're nice for 3d combat.

I have 2 of Dr. Wizard's Patented Elevation Indicator's. One is just the cylinder and the other I got the Large extender. He also offers different colored bands. The original black bands that come with it stretch eventually. With the large extender you can use minis that have odd shaped bases on top and just take up a 1 " square below. The tacky putty that comes with the extender will work for a while but I went ahead and glued it because I was going to use a mounted horseman mini.

Just my 2 cp.

I like those too. Although as in most things I can't look at them without thinking "dang, that's a great idea! I think I could whip up some of those myself!"

Silver Crusade

Our group usually uses the clear rectangular boxes that sets of dice come in as bases for flying critters, then put a die inside the clear box with a number to represent elevation.

Sovereign Court

I usually keep that spot empty, since we sometimes need minis there.

We use those Combat Tiers all the time. They are absolutely great and make for some great photos :-)

Shadow Lodge

Sadly I don't actually have any yet. Eventually. For now what I actually use are the little plastic things that come in pizza boxes to keep the cheese from sticking to the box... :D That or dice boxes.
