The Minis Swap?

Anyone remember the minis swap from last year?

I note its not on the schedule. This is a tragedy. Any plans to have the triumphant return of the miniatures swapmeet?

I am all for it, and I will be bringing all of my miniatures to this con. Hopefully I can trade some good ones.

I'll be bringing a bunch of trading too. Traditionally the mini-swap is in the bar in the afternoon after most of the con is wrapped up. We could certainly do a no-host one as we did the first time.

What kinds of minis can be traded? Hubby has tons of D&D minis and is looking to unload a bunch of commons/uncommons and maybe a few rares. Would it be worth us dragging them down with us from Canada?

IIRC some people brought plastic minis last year as well as pewter, so go for it!

My experience from last year was that any fantasy plastic and metal did great. I made some amazing trades and came home with a boat load of new miniatures.

I brought some Star Wars pre-painted plastics and they basically did nothing.

Still, I had a great time and it was fun regardless.
