I've had a couple of players drop out of my homebrew PbP, so I'm looking for replacements. You'd be members of the band "Squealy Nord," who is just coming off of a narrow win at their regional qualifying contest. The gameplay thread is here (http://paizo.com/campaigns/v5748p75hoh3f/gameplay&page=1). The rules are as follows:
-Starting at level 5. At least 4 levels must be as a Bard (every 3rd level can be in a different class).
-Starting wealth of 8150 gp.
-Keep in mind that Perform checks will be a big deal. We lost the guitarist and the keyboardist, so those are the instruments we're looking for (or something along those lines, at least).

You would be joining Squealy Nord, an up-and-coming band that just qualified for the national "Battle of the Bands." Beyond that, I think you just need to read some of the gameplay thread. Just keep in mind that it's in a homebrew world, not Golarion.
I do recall showing interest in this before, though prior commitments held me from applying then. I did enjoy what I read of the campaign itself though.
I may have a character idea, but I should ask, what are your feelings regarding firearms? The original recruitment post said that anything in the PRD is free game, but I just thought I should clarify.
(And also, any particular details we should put into the backstory? I know the original band members all came from some small town.)
Since Squealy Nord are world travelers now, your backstory can be anything you want. Just don't make it too gritty. For firearms, I'll say it's at the "Emerging Guns" level.
Here's the fluff and crunch for Belzac Boomshot, bard/mysterious stranger (and prospective guitarist).
Belzac Boomshot was once the lead guitarist of the Powder Kegs, an emerging band that was all the rage in their underground home. The band quickly gained popularity due to their use of pyrotechnics and gunfire in their performances - the music itself wasn't all that great. One day, the drummer had the brilliant plan to use barrels full of gunpowder in place of a drum set. Belzac initially protested, but relented when he was assured that the proper safety precautions would be taken. It was said that the explosion that took place that night could be felt even on the surface.
Burnt but alive and left without a band, Belzac was exiled to the surface for the crime of domestic terrorism, despite his protests. With only his guitar and the clothes on his back, he began to wander from town to town, trying and failing to capitalize on the fame he had back home. After spending a night downing a barrel of booze, he came to a conclusion that he loathed - he had to join another band, a surface band.
Oh, I just realized I should have told you it was 20 point buy. I forgot all about that. So it's:
-20 point buy
-Max HP at first level, average rounded up after that
-2 Traits
And if you want to play a Dwarf, I'll let you take the -2 to DEX instead of CHA.
Alright, that should put me at 39 hp unless I royally screwed up the math somewhere along the line.

I am not nearly as quick with stats, still pretty newb to 3.75. If you've already filled your spots, I am willing to work up an alternate in case you lose someone.
