Druid and Stone Armor

Rules Questions

Dark Archive

So I'm making a druid and at first I was thinking that druid could cast in nonmetallic armor which would mean I could cast in Stoneplate or the Stone Coat. I just realized that is stats which armors I can then add the ironwood.

Is this just due to it not being updated when stone plate and stone coat were added or is this as intended?

TLDR; As a Druid can I still cast while wearing Stone Plate(ISWG) or Stone Coat(UC)

Grand Lodge

Both speak of being utilized by druids.
If it's not metal, it's good.

Yes. Stoneplate and Stone Coat are both armor that a druid can wear without interfering with their casting. You will need to make sure you have proficiency in the armor in question. They can also cast in dragonhide armor and Bone armor, both under special materials. Bone armor would need to be enchanted to at least +1 before it was viable for combat(removes the fragile property).

So, you can have Bone Hellknight plate?

And bone armor, and dragonscale armor... the metal armor thing is not a balance issue.

Of course, you would need to take the appropriate armor feat, but I assume you're doing that.

I would assume so. Could be Skeletor! Just make sure it's +1 or it will break at some point

Grand Lodge

Skeletor wears, at most, a bone breastplate, and a fur speedo.
Gotta show off the 8 pack abs.
