Placing a campaign in Golarion

Where would you place a campaign in Golarion that is in the midst of a massive war?

Where would make sense? I am thinking somewhere a little less populated, but the war should be kingdom spanning, HUGE!!

Ideas?

Molthune/Nirmathas for a regular war, Lastwall/Belkzen (or Ustalav) for a war against the orcs (or undead), and Mendev/Wourldwound for an epic war against the forces of the Abyss.

If you want an incipient war, go with Cheliax/Andoran (see Tower of the Last Baron).

For a civil war, of course, go with Brevoy or Galt

Someone once suggested to me an invasive force from Kyonin making an assault on the surrounding areas. When you think about it, the elves can call a massive number of reinforcements from beyond the gate, and the countries surrounding them are Galt, a constantly politically chaotic state (a.k.a, weak), the River Kingdoms, who are too busy squabbling with one another to have any proper cohesion, Razmiran (which is fairly small), Druma (which ofucses more on trade and is pathetically underpopulated) and the extremely shut-in self-defeating Five King Mountain dwarves...it would be a fairly easy first assault...

Beating up smug self-righteous (non-drow) elves can be fun for a change? ;)

There was some elements of elven superdickery in the Second Darkness adventure path, so you might want to start there.

Second darkness spoilers:

IIRC, it was book 5 where you get manipulated by the elven queen into going to beat up the overly xenophobic winter council. They could make for some nice high level (possibly anti)-villains, for example.
