Blind-fight and Stealth

Rules Questions

Hello all,

Sorry if this has been posted before, found many threads but none answered clearly my question: does Blind-fight foil Stealth? In D&D 3.5 according to rules compendium, and in D&D 4th, a hidden character (one using Stealth or Hide) is considered invisible, so Blind-fight would foil them. Is the same for Pathfinder then?

Thnak you.

PD: I also checked the thread about the Stealth revision, and couldn't find anything there, except that hidden and invisible wouldn't be the same thing.

No, blind fight allow you to reroll if you missed an attack due to the opponent being invisible, you still have to make perception checks to know if the opponent is in that square in the first place.

I see. Ok, my fault, I was referring to the part of Blind-Fight that states that you don't lose your bonus to AC from DEX from an invisible character. An example: suppose I am in combat and a rogue successfully positions stealthy behind me. He attacks me. Will Blind-Fight be of any help?

It wouldn't make you any better at detecting them, but it would prevent an invisible rogue's sneak attack from happening. Any invisible melee attack wouldn't get the advantages of being invisible.

I can't wait until my next level up because I will gain both blind-fight and blindsense 30ft. Stupid, invisible jerks...
