Seeking Indianapolis group with regular sessions to join

Gamer Connection

Hi, my name is Heather. I've been playing for about a year now, with fair variety of characters. I lean towards non-fighters, but am flexible. I'm creative, and really like a game that has rich storytelling and isn't all about combat. I've got a couple of books, and wouldn't object to testing out my GM abilities if someone gets bored. Otherwise, I'm happy to be just a player. I've been playing about once a week, and that would be ideal.

I'm moving to Indy mid-June, and I know I will start going through withdrawal if I don't find a group to play with. ;)

Might not totally scratch the itch, as Pathfinder Society lends itself to a little more combat than storytelling in some scenarios, but there's an active PFS society in Indy. If nothing else, it would help you meet some of the gamers in the area.

Currently they play every Friday at Saltire Games on the NE side of Indy and at Arsenal Games every Saturday which is downtown Indy.

Welcome to the area!

Sniggevert's right. The PFS is pretty active. You might also join "Indy Gaming" on meetup.com. I'm getting ready to join a group (after I meet them) that's finishing up Runelords at the end of the month, and that's how the GM found me.

Seems like most of the PFS sessions are on the south side and my whole group is north side. It's difficult for me to get my own close group of friends to play more than once a month, so if anyone on the north end of Indy is looking to start regular PFS sessions at The Game Preserve, they're always willing to make room!

There aren't any PFS games on the southside (though Gamerz has non-pfs Pathfinder games). The venues are downtown (Arsenal) and on the northwest side (Saltire). Game Preserve seems to be pretty D&D and oddly Fantasy Flight WH40k-centric.

I'm guessing Heather is probably one of the 2 Heathers from the D&D Meetup and if not there are a lot of Heathers playing D&D in Indy. I'd recommend hitting up a PFS game for no other reason then most of the people who play have a home game as well.
