The maneuver master monk archetype replaces flurry of blows with flurry of maneuvers. A normal monk may spend a Ki point and add an additional attack when using flurry, as per RAW; "By spending 1 point from his ki pool, a monk can make one additional attack at his highest attack bonus when making a flurry of blows attack."
Would this function for the flurry of maneuvers ability?

Let me rephrase that: the question is whether one can still get an additional attack by spending a ki point.
In the discussion that lead to my post here, the original wording "when making a flurry of blows attack" was referenced- with emphasis on the distinction between flurry of blows and flurry of maneuvers. It was also noted that there is no specification in the text for flurry of maneuvers that says it qualifies as flurry of blows for the purposes of feats and abilities.
The other side of the debate was that as it replaces flurry of blows, it takes its place, is used in the same way, and qualifies as flurry of blows does. It was also noted that although the original Ki Pool text does say 'flurry of blows,' Ultimate combat was not yet released and the game-makers and editors would not have considered the maneuver master in their wording.
This breaks down to a debate between RAW and RAI in my opinion, I would just like to hear a few opinions from those of greater experience.

Also- if a monk were to use a large temple sword two-handed, would they still be able to flurry with it?
This is the 64,000gp question, really. Six months ago the answer anyone gave was likely to be 'yes'. Then the devs clarified that they actually meant FoB to work like two weapon fighting, which would make my fellow rodent of burden above correct. Then they retracted the clarification in the face of the fact that published material by Paizo has over three years backed the point of view that if you have one flurry weapon, you can make all attacks with it.
They are now reviewing it and maybe the entire monk class as well, as a lot of problems were highlighted and every week there is a new 'monk fix' on the boards.

As far as the origonal topic goes, i think it doesnt work. the maneuver master changed how flurry works in that you dont have flurry any more.
And Maneuver master makes specific changes as to when you can get extra Maneuvers.
But i think If your not playing PFS your GM can just decide if leting you do it is too strong or not, i personally dont see an issue with it.

The problem is that the archetypes write like errata and are often unclear what exactly they replace and what they incorporate.
It would be better, imho, if they would always rewrite the entire section that an ability is altering/replacing.
