Con Schedule

I thought somewhere I had seen a schedule of when sessions are being run, though the lottery has not come out yet. However, I can't seem to find a thread with it. Do we know when the different slots are going to be offered? I'm just trying to figure out some non-con activities (Shocking, I know). Thanks!

We're still working on the schedule. Stay tuned.

The events schedule is now live for preview.

Hi Jeff, is the events schedule only in preview mode? It's not clear to me how to sign up for events, in particular, marking them with the ranking. Could that description be added to the otherwise clear instructions please?

It would also be helpful if the auto-time zoning for these events is deactivated. I've reset my timezone to US/Pacific Time but it was a bit confusing while I tried to figure out why James Jacobs would be starting his game at 3 am in the morning. Nothing like an early start!

Good to see the events schedule up :-)

It's only up for preview. Lottery signup begins Thursday at 2PM Pacific.

Oops... we were supposed to do that. Will fix. Thanks!

Thanks Vic, just had an extended long weekend here, I thought the timeline meant last Thursday, not Thursday, June 7.

Silver Crusade

Is there any way we can get this as a printable file?

The "heads up" email says the lottery starts on Thursday June 6. Is it Thursday, or is it June 6, cos the 6th is Wednesday?

It's Thursday, June 7th.

What happened to the Warhorn for PFS events? No offense to the Paizo system, but it's not nearly useful for coordination or table management as Warhorn.

I know you have other events going on, but the PFS events surely could have a Warhorn, right?

We are not using Warhorn because we'd like it to be obvious to all PaizoCon attendees where to find all the events on our own site. We'd also like to have all the PaizoCon information available in one place, rather than split across two sites.

Did you need it before PaizoCon? We (usually) get tickets for the lottery things and a brochure or program of all the events.

My wife and I are Paizocon newbees and she mentioned she did not want to sit and play all day. (she is just starting and does want to have her possible only trip to seattle setting in a convention). I need to come up with a good plan of attack and make the little woman happy or it may be my last trip to Washington too. We are flying in Thursday and leaving Sunday Morning. She and I have two second level characters in PFS but she has just started playing roleplaying games this year and played one PFS game so the lottery games maybe too much for her.

I wanted a printable copy so I can sit down a show her about how long the sessions are and what level we will be playing and we need to be playing at the same tables. Plus try to come up with a way the see some sites for her like the seattle sky line (because she is Gray's Anatomy)fan and personally I wouldn't mind getting my picture taken at Jimi Hendrix's and Bruce Lee's grave if we are close and that is possible.

Hip-hip-hoorah!

Found one error and one potential error on the Open Events chart:

Spoiler:

For this event on Friday afternoon, the title and description do not match (one for Sewer Dragons, one for The Kortos Envoy):
#3-02: Sewer Dragons of Absalom (3-7)
PFS Room - Friday 01:00 PM – 06:00 PM

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for Levels 5–9.

When the Pathfinder Society receives an invitation to a dinner party at the Thuvian Embassy, hosted by the guardian of this year's six doses of the infamous sun orchid elixir, the Decemvirate sends a team of Pathfinders to represent them and uncover the nature of the event. Can the PCs navigate the complex social landscape of Absalom's elite and gain access to the mysterious vault known as the Conundrum, or will they face public ridicule or worse in the face of the steepest competition in the Inner Sea?

Spoiler:

I believe this event should be scheduled 5:00 - 6:00 PM on Saturday. The other Seminar room ends at 6:00, and there is nothing scheduled in this from 5-6, and the Banquet is at 7:00 (I presume).

10 Years of Paizo Publishing
Seminar Room 1 - Saturday 06:00 PM – 07:00 PM

Seminar.
Speaker: Erik Mona, Lisa Stevens, Vic Wertz, Jeff Alvarez, Jason Bulmahn, Wes Schneider, Pierce Watters, James Jacobs, Sarah Robinson

I can't comment on the second one (I'll bring it up to the people who scheduled that event), but the first thing should be fixed sometime this morning. Thank you for bringing this to our attention :)

I just realized that Open Events tab existed. I thought those were being added later. Now I have a LOT more to read through today than I anticipated.

Initial question about these Friday 8am events, and it's really a bigger concern for the whole con: what is being done to handle the badge line so it doesn't repeat the long wait of years' past, especially for people to make it to their 8am events? Will those people be given grace to pick up their badges later?

We are working on a more efficient registration process so hopefully things will go faster.

Thanks Jeff! I know you guys have a crazy schedule ahead of you.

Will registration be open the day before to pick up badges ahead of time?

I've thought a lot about this option and right now I'm leaning towards NO because there's so much involved in setting up for registration.

We're trying to streamline the registration process this year and I'm hopeful that we will be able to cycle folks thru the line much faster and get you all off to your games on time.
