in this PFSRD the Floating Feather Feather Token has a purchase cost of 40 and a craft cost of 225.

is this an error or is there a particular reason for this?

It should be 20gp to craft.

No, just follow the usual crafting rules, and use 20gp to craft it.

The price was incorrectly entered and has now been corrected. Sorry about that. The correct Price should be 450 gp (cost 225 gp.)
