Movement speed bonuses.

Sovereign Court

So a human monk/barbarian (I know they cant) The Monk has +10 move, the Barbarian has + 10 move. He is also wearing boots of striding and springing (+10 move), and has the fleet feat (+5 move), and has had haste cast on him (+30, to a maximum of twice the subject's normal speed).

Like bonuses do not stack. So the greater of the 2 from barbarian/monk, which is +10.
The Feat, +5 movement
Magical bonuses, greater between boots (+10) and Haste (+30)
So this guy has a 75 movement?
Or does Haste having a max 60 (2x human movement) movement come into play making it 60?
Or does Hastes 60, add to the feat, and the class?

My final query is concerning what happens when my gnome player (20 base) with the fleet feat (+5), boots of striding and springing (+ 10), gets hasted (+30). What speed is that little bugger? (40?) (50?)(65?)

i think your right at 75 for the frist one
for the gnome base 20, +5 feat, +10 boots, +20 haste(thats the upto twice base) for a total of 55 by my count.
I could be wrong on one or both accounts tho.

The monk's speed bonus is an enhancement bonus. So is the bonus from boots of springing and striding. So is the bonus from haste. The Barbarian bonus is an un-typed bonus and stacks with all other bonuses. The feat "Fleet" is also an un-typed bonus and stacks with all other bonuses.

So, a monk/barbarian with Fleet and with boots of springing and striding and haste moves at 75 (enhancement - 30 from haste, monk and boots are overlapped; un-typed - 15: 10 from barbarian, 5 from Fleet, both stack; 30 base land speed). The haste spell does not limit this character to 60. because his normal land speed is 45, and the limit to haste is twice the characters' normal speed, not a static 60.

The gnome with Fleet has a normal base speed of 25. The boots and haste are both enhancement bonuses, so they do not stack, only the highest bonus is applied. Haste has a limit of double the characters' normal speed, which is 25 for this character, so with haste, his total speed is 50.

Well clarified, thanks!

Gotta disagree, in a specific detail:
Haste: All of the hasted creature's modes of movement (including land movement, burrow, climb, fly, and swim) increase by 30 feet, to a maximum of twice the subject's normal speed using that form of movement. This increase counts as an enhancement bonus, and it affects the creature's jumping distance as normal for increased speed. Multiple haste effects don't stack. Haste dispels and counters slow.

That is NOT base speed, but normal speed.

So, for the Barbarian/Monk:
55' normal movement, but 10' is enhancement. Haste gives +30', but the +10' drops, so total = 75' movement while Hasted.

For the gnome:
35' is his normal movement, even though 10' of it is enhancement, and won't stack with Haste.
Now, if none of it came from enhancement bonuses, his speed with Haste would be 65', but Haste only adds 30" maximum, so, his speed is either going to be 50', double his non-enhancement speed, or 55', Haste adding its 30' cap to his normal speed, less the 10' enhancement overlap.
Possibly, though unlikely, he should actually have a Hasted speed of 65', with a normal speed of 35', ading +30' to it, for Haste's maximum boost, but Haste covering the extra 10' "lost" to enhancement overlap.
