Manyshot vs. Deflect Arrows

If I use Deflect Arrows against the first attack in a full attack from an archer using Manyshot, it negates BOTH of the incoming arrows from said attack, correct?

Seems like a pretty good use of the feat.

I'd say no. I guess that intent was that Deflect Arrow negates one hit. Manyshot causes two hits. RAW would support your reading (negated one attack, one attack causing two hits) but I think that it is because Deflect Arrow was written when Manyshot was working differently.

I would rule in agreement with RD's assessment. The RAW is pretty clear and I have no problem with the visualization of it. The two arrows are essentially on the same path at the same time.
