In-game start date? (for the backside retentive)

Skull & Shackles

This is truly a question for those interested in completely irrelevant details, but does anyone know roughly when (year, season, month, etc) the campaign starts?

(No extraneous, spoilerific details please... I'm playing, not GMing. So please don't say, "Based on Plot Detail X, the date is likely N." Thanks!)

There's no official date given, so it's up to the GM.

When Rob McCreary started his office campaign, we set the start date as the in-world equivalent of our first game session and have been counting the days from there. The campaign takes place in the tropics, so seasons are less of an issue, and the events within don't depend on holidays or days of the week or anything else that's calendar-specific.

Scarab Sages

I set it as the date my subscription order was entered. (I meant to make it the day it shipped, but misread the page. 8^) So, for my campaign, the first day was 4712-04-12.

Thanks all. I appreciate it.
