Grand Lodge

I have been playing for a couple of weeks and am just about to complete crypt of the ever flame. My GM wants us to make a few new charicters for a much longer story. I was planning a druid but want to shapeshif instead of using spells, this is not viable at a low level so i wonderd if an alternative method of playing druid was around in wich i can just shapeshift without the other druit loadout. Thank for any help you can give depite the stupidity of my request.

Unfortunately, your next best options are Transmutation-focused Wiz/Sorc or Synthesist Summoner. At the moment, there is no official shapeshifting Druid archetype.

There is a Ranger archetype that allows shapeshifting. At low levels you take on a few characteristics of the creature but at higher levels you can completely shape shift.

Thinking about it, you could do Beastmorph Alchemist into Master Chymist if you really wanted to.

Grand Lodge

Thanks for the help guys but my solutin is to make my own class XD

Shadow Lodge

You might check out the various animal shamans. While you still have spells (and druid spells are usually awesome) at 2nd lvl you gain the ability to transform slightly into your totem animal (faster movement, nat armor, nat attacks) and at 6th lvl you gain wild shape but WS into your totem species you get more powerful. It might be worth a look at least. Shamans are in APG, UM, and UC.
