I don't think there's one that's head and shoulders above all the others, but I would say Lore Warden is probably the "best" in comparing what you gain for what you lose.
My personal favorite is the Mobile Fighter, because I like that sort of fighting. Of course, me liking it is based on 2 assumptions: 1) You can still use Gloves of Deuling with it (this goes for any archetype that replicates Weapon Training w/ a different name; if you can't use the gloves, every single one of those archetypes is total junk) and 2) The level 11 class feature + Whirlwind Attack = You forgo your attack on the guy closest to you at start of turn, and you then proceed to run through hordes of enemies, slashing each and every one of them as you go by like a total badass.
If either of those is untrue or ruled against..."Oh well, guess I'll play a Lore Warden."

I have a shield fighter in my game atm, and he just runs through things. The whole being able to dual wield the same shield for all of his attacks combined with the shield master feat(which negates two-weapon fighting penalties) is quite brutal.
Plus the free bull rushing on every attack gives him some nice battle field control without giving up damage.
