Higher cmb for grapple

Advice

My friend is making a ranger with a constrictor and is looking for some advice on how to get his grapple higher.
He's going human but wants the extra feat and he's taking animal boon. Also we're reassured the DM will house rule that the snake doesn't need improved unarmed strike to take improved grapple.(If it's even required) So what are some items and/or feats he can take to make his snake grapple better?

Cast Magic Fang. Eventually cast Animal Growth. Dip into something that can cast True Strike and cast that through share spells. Or Enlarge Person.

Weapon Focus. Magic belts if your GM is cool with a snake wearing those.

If there is one creature type that deserves multiple belt slots....

Can you cite where is says that weapon focus applies to the cmb grapple as well?

It actually has to be weapon focus (grapple). It's one of those weird cases of very specific stuff.
