Dual Archetype Magus?

Advice

I'm wondering if it's possible to do a Magus that has both the Spire Defender and Kensai archetypes. One of my players wants them and thinks that since they don't overlap it should be alright. I hope it works because theres no classes or archetype that interest him as of now XD

They both get rid of the Spell Recall ability, so they wouldn't be stackable, sadly.

This. Two archetypes are stackable if, and only if, they don't modify the same ability. Apparently, Kensai and Spire Defender do.

Why noty just go Kensai? It's pretty cool all on it's own, really.

Expanding Harley Quinn X's correct answer, you *can* have two (or potentially more) archetypes IF the replaced abilities do not overlap.

For example, a potential correct dual-archetype combo for the Magus is Blade Bound and Kensai.

Cheers
