Can you use one of the new combat style feats in UC with weapons? (Example Crane Style). I don't see anything preventing it, but I read somewhere these were balanced based on unarmed attack damage or a monk.
You can use it with weapons, but most of the styles either make no sense for an armed fighter, since they give bonusses to unarmed strikes, or they require a free hand, which is doable but not that great considering the feat costs (improved unarmed strike).
But it is possible to use it, which can be seen in the Kirin Strike feats that writes: "...as a swift action after you have hit a creature with a melee or ranged attack, you...".

I'll chime in that it seems quite underoptimized to do this, BUT assuming you qualify for feats (IUS/Stunning Fist/Elem Fist etc), you can use quite a few of the abilities with a Ki Focus weapon... (note the weapon property says nothing about requiring a ki pool)
Most of the feats have a lot of things that apply only to unarmed strikes, but looking over them, there are quite a few that either have side benefits (Dragon Style, charge anywhere) or would work with a Ki Focus weapon(Genie styles, extra elem damage)
As for Crane Style, that will work just fine (as long as you keep a free hand)

You get the bonuses to fighting defensively while using Crane Style regardless of what you're wielding.
Crane Style (Combat, Style)
Your unarmed fighting techniques blend poise with graceful defense.Prerequisites: Dodge, Improved Unarmed Strike, base attack bonus +2 or monk level 1st.
Benefit: You take only a –2 penalty on attack rolls for fighting defensively. While using this style and fighting defensively or using the total defense action, you gain an additional +1 dodge bonus to your Armor Class.
Crane Wing requires you to have a free hand to parry the attack.
Crane Wing (Combat)
You move with the speed and finesse of an avian hunter, your sweeping blocks and graceful motions allowing you to deflect melee attacks with ease.Prerequisites: Crane Style, Dodge, Improved Unarmed Strike, base attack bonus +5 or monk level 5th.
Benefit: Once per round while using Crane Style, when you have at least one hand free and are either fighting defensively or using the total defense action, you can deflect one melee weapon attack that would normally hit you. You expend no action to deflect the attack, but you must be aware of it and not flat-footed. An attack so deflected deals no damage to you.
Crane Riposte would again give all the bonuses towards fighting defensively regardless of what you're wielding but you would only benefit from the riposte if you have a free hand to make the parry.
Crane Riposte (Combat)
You use your defensive abilities to make overpowering counterattacks.Prerequisites: Crane Style, Crane Wing, Dodge, Improved Unarmed Strike, base attack bonus +8 or monk level 7th.
Benefit: You take only a –1 penalty on attack rolls for fighting defensively. Whenever you use Crane Wing to deflect an opponent's attack, you can make an attack of opportunity against that opponent after the attack is deflected.
