Sohei Monk and their bonus feats / Cavalier questions

Rules Questions

Sovereign Court

I've been toying around with a Sohei Monk for PFS, and although I know that no one has an exact idea how their bonus feats works, I was curious if there was a consensus on it.

1) Does a Sohei Monk ignore pre-requisites when selecting Mounted Combat feats (of which I'm assuming that is Mounted Combat and any feat that has Mounted Combat as a pre-requisite)? I'm looking at Trick Riding and Mounted Skirmisher (I'm probably not the only one) and wondering if they can take it.

2) The Cavalier's mount: if you're medium size, do you have to take the horse or camel option? If you have a means of reducing your size (such as Potions of Reduce Person), can you take the smaller size animals? I'd hate to encounter a module where I can't take my mount because it's too big, and the idea for the character that I have precludes taking a small-sized race.

Monk bonus feats do not require prereqs.

As written no, but if that's your concern the spell reduce animal is going to be useful for you and lasts much longer than reduce person.

Well, I'm going to go with this then. Trick Riding at level 1, Mounted Skirmisher at level 2.

Thanks James.
