Anti-Magic Field

Rules Questions

So I am trying to toss an anti-magic room in my game but was wondering if there is a list somewhere of what still works within i.e. smite evil/judgements.

I know you can still rage within one, so can an inquisitor still use his judgement class feature? or a paladin use smite evil? Can a summon summon his eidilon outside one and still have it be active once he walks in. Specifically the synthesis archetype.

It is a case by case basis, any ability with EX: is still usable, while spells, SP: and SU: abilities are shut down unless they specifically say they work in antimagic (artifacts also operate)

For instance Smite Evil is SU: and wouldn't function, same with divine grace.

This makes me wonder. Is all damage reduction EX:, or some SU:?

wonder no longer

from 3.5

/Magic = su
/- = ex
/epic = su
/alignment (ei: good, lawful) = su
/type (ei: slashing, piercing) = ex
/material (adamantine) = ex
/material (silver or cold iron) = su
/combined (cold iron and/or good) = su if any part of it falls into an su class, ex otherwise.

That's good to know. Fighting in an Anti-magic field will most likely bring the subject of DR into play.

buy an old rules compendium off ebay, you'll enjoy it. Was pretty much the last 3.5 book released by wotc.
