Provoking AoO

Rules Questions

Sorry, I'm aware this is a dumb question, but if you and an ally are both threatening an enemy and he attacks one of you, does it provoke an AoO from the one he didn't attack?

Go to page 183 in your Player's Handbook. There is a chart of actions that can be taken and if they provoke AoOs or not.

Not unless the action he performs says he does.

Here is a recent similar thread.

The Exchange

a suggestion i might make to you is instead of posting a new thread just use the search function to the left of your screen and try it there if that doesnt work trying "googling" your question since paizo is google driven it usually has paizo links in the first few.

an example "what provokes attacks of opportunity paizo"

this will give you a few options the very first of which is
http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/combat.html
that has the chart and full explanation on it.

im not bagging on you for starting a thread merely trying to help you learn how to research this game as you will have a billion questions like most of us and the best tool you can use is a search engine.
