Levitate (un)stability

Rules Questions

I need a clarification on Levitate's stability conditions (negating the unstable penalty). For example if a Levitated person has his/her feet against a wall or ceiling will this negate the unstable condition entirely?

The spell description never suggests this; only your GM can add rules into the game that don't appear there.

The only way to remove the unstable condition is to spend a full round stabilizing. There are no suggested ways to "negate" it. It is a downside of the spell.

I would state that if you were keeping yourself stabilized against a surface then yes you would negate the unstable condition entirely. However, this is a personal GM ruling and there is nothing in the RAW to state this is the case as a whole (only common sense perhaps). As with most corner cases it would have to be adjucated by your GM unless someone makes a FAQ on it. - Gauss

It's pretty hard to be unstable when your slammed against a surface.

I have found that most people that are slammed against a surface are generally a bit unstable on their feet afterward.

However if you feel that such should stabilize you the by all means state your case for your GM... however there is nothing in RAW to support the position.
