1729 is the smallest integer that can be written two ways as a sum of two cubes.

1^3 + 12^3 = 1 + 1728 = 1729
9^3 + 10^2 = 729 + 1000 = 1729

Around the seventh inning against the Milwaukee Brewers, the Los Angeles Dodgers were down by a score of 4 to the Brewer's 5 (indeed, the earlier game season supposedly had the Dodgers on a losing streak), when Gawr Gura came out to sing her rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame". That's when things turned around for the Dodgers as they would come out victorious with a final winning score of 8 to 5 (supposedly that very number 85 would hold some significance in reference to Hololive's very own CEO, Yagoo).

Eventually, the Los Angeles Dodgers would go on to win the 2024 World Series several months later; prompting some Dodger's Fans into believing that the Half-Shark V-Tuber is now considered something of a 'Good-Luck Charm' for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

While it may be somewhat of a bit of bad form to be revisiting a previous post that was made on a past topic, in a much more recently uploaded video, Youtuber Taledo succinctly explains the whole Dodgers-Hololive 2024 collaboration in much more extensive detail in his video presentation, When VTubers Took Over Baseball | The Hololive x Dodgers Story. ;)
In a bit of a bizarre, book-ending set of circumstances to all of this, V-Tuber Gawr Gura has announced her upcoming graduation on May 1st, 2025 within the Japanese Time Zone.

And it looks like there'll be yet another collaboration this year between Hololive and the Los Angeles Dodgers that'll be taking place during July 5, 2025.

The three Hololive members that will be appearing for this new collaboration includes: Koseki Bijou, IRyS, and Ninomae Ina’nis.

Diablo is an action role-playing video game developed by Blizzard North and released by Blizzard Entertainment in January 1997 and is the first installment in the video game series of the same name.

Set in the fictional Kingdom of Khanduras in the mortal realm, the player controls a lone hero battling to rid the world of Diablo, the Lord of Terror. Beneath the town of Tristram, the player journeys through sixteen randomly generated dungeon levels, ultimately entering Hell in order to face Diablo.

An expansion pack, Diablo: Hellfire, was released in November 1997 by Synergistic Software. In 1998, Electronic Arts released Diablo for the PlayStation. This version, developed by Climax Studios, featured direct control of the main character's direction using the PlayStation controller, as opposed to point-and-click movement. A Sega Saturn version was considered by Electronic Arts but never released. Diablo has been considered one of the greatest games of all time for its randomized assignment of quests and enemies on each playthrough, online multiplayer, and graphics. The game's success led to several sequels: Diablo II in 2000, Diablo III in 2012, Diablo Immortal in 2022 and Diablo IV in 2023.

The Sandman (Wesley Bernard "Wes" Dodds) is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The first of several DC characters to bear the name Sandman, he was created by writer Gardner Fox and artist Allen Bert Christman. Attired in a green business suit, fedora, and World War I gas mask, the Sandman used a gun emitting a sleeping gas to sedate criminals. He was originally one of the "mystery men" to appear in comic books and other types of adventure fiction in the 1930s, but later was outfitted with a unitard/cowl costume and developed into a proper superhero, acquiring a sidekick, Sandy, and founding the Justice Society of America (JSA).

Like most DC Golden Age superheroes, the Sandman fell into obscurity in the 1940s and eventually other DC characters took his name. During the 1990s, when writer Neil Gaiman's Sandman (featuring Morpheus, the anthropomorphic embodiment of dreams) was popular, DC revived Dodds in Sandman Mystery Theatre, a pulp/noir series set in the 1930s. Wizard Magazine ranked Wesley Dodds among the Top 200 Comic Book Characters of All Time, and he is the oldest superhero in terms of continuity to appear on the list.

If you hadn't said it was inspired by Dracula I would have guessed it was stealing the plot of Tanith Lee's Blood Opera trilogy.

Goldbach's conjecture, that every even number ≥ 4 is the sum of two prime numbers, is one of the most famous unsolved problems in mathematics. To date, all even numbers up to 4,000,000,000,000,000,000 (4*10^18) have been tested, and no counterexample has been found, but the conjecture remains unproven.

It has been proven that every odd number ≥ 7 is the sum of three prime numbers, which means that every even number ≥ 10 is the sum of four prime numbers (and 8 = 2+2+2+2).

The Cajun Navy are informal ad hoc volunteer groups comprising private boat owners who assist in search and rescue efforts in the United States as well as offer disaster relief assistance. These groups draw their name from the region's Cajun people, a significant number of whom are private boat owners and skilled boat pilots. Their boats consist of a number of types, but are typically small vessels such as bass boats, jon boats, air boats, and other small, shallow-draft craft easily transported to flooded areas.

Snow load is the pressure or force put on a building’s roof caused by a pile-up of snow or ice.

Since snow and ice melt when temperatures climb above 32 degrees, snow load is a temporary type of load — or a “live load” (versus a permanent “dead load,” like beams and drywall).

The term is used in the construction industry to describe the amount of pressure a roof can hold without any damage. We measure a roof’s snow load in pounds per square foot (or PSF).

A flange rating, also known as flange class, is a measure of how much pressure and temperature a flange can safely withstand. It's a key factor in ensuring the integrity and reliability of piping systems, and is typically designated by a number, like Class 150, Class 300, etc. Higher numbers indicate a higher pressure and temperature rating, meaning the flange is stronger and can handle more demanding conditions.

The Union Pacific Railroad is a Class I freight-hauling railroad that operates 8,300 locomotives over 32,200 miles (51,800 km) routes in 23 U.S. states west of Chicago and New Orleans. Union Pacific is the second largest railroad in the United States after BNSF, with which it shares a duopoly on transcontinental freight rail lines in the Western, Midwestern and West South Central United States.

Founded in 1862, the original Union Pacific Rail Road was part of the first transcontinental railroad project, later known as the Overland Route. Over the next century, UP absorbed the Missouri Pacific Railroad, the Western Pacific Railroad, the Missouri–Kansas–Texas Railroad and the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad. In 1995, the Union Pacific merged with Chicago and North Western Transportation Company, completing its reach into the Upper Midwest. In 1996, the company merged with Southern Pacific Transportation Company, itself a giant system that was absorbed by the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad. The Union Pacific Railroad Company is the principal operating company of Union Pacific Corporation, which are both headquartered at the Union Pacific Center, in Omaha, Nebraska.

Mortal Kombat is a 2021 American martial arts fantasy film co-produced and directed by Simon McQuoid, in his directorial debut, from a screenplay by Greg Russo and Dave Callaham, based on the video-game series created by Ed Boon and John Tobias. The film serves as a reboot of the Mortal Kombat film series and is the third installment in the franchise. It stars Lewis Tan, Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson, Tadanobu Asano, Mehcad Brooks, Ludi Lin, Chin Han, Max Huang, Joe Taslim, and Hiroyuki Sanada. The film follows Cole Young, a washed-up mixed martial arts fighter who is unaware of his hidden lineage or why the assassin Sub-Zero is hunting him down. Concerned for the safety of his family, he seeks out a clique of fighters that were chosen to defend Earthrealm against Outworld.

Following the critical and commercial failure of Mortal Kombat Annihilation (1997), a third Mortal Kombat film languished in development hell for a period of nearly two decades. In late 2010, Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema began developing a new film, with Kevin Tancharoen serving as director from a script written by Oren Uziel in the wake of their short film Mortal Kombat: Rebirth (2010). James Wan was announced as a producer in August 2015 and McQuoid was hired as director in November 2016. Production took place at Adelaide Studios in Adelaide and at other locations in South Australia. Principal photography occurred from September to December 2019.

Mortal Kombat was released internationally on April 8, 2021, and in the United States on April 23, simultaneously in theaters in Dolby Cinema, IMAX, and 4DX formats and on the streaming service HBO Max. The film received mixed reviews from critics, who praised the performances, production values, action sequences, and faithfulness to the source material as compared to the previous films but criticized its screenplay and exposition. The film grossed over $84 million against a $55 million production budget and became HBO Max's most successful film launch to date.

A sequel, Mortal Kombat II, is scheduled to be released on October 24, 2025, with Jeremy Slater set to write the screenplay and McQuoid returning as director.
