Gifted Adept lvl 2+

Rules Questions

Im creating this post because i did not see anything like this on the forum.

Gifted Adept
Your interest in magic was inspired by witnessing a spell being cast in a particularly dramatic method, perhaps even one that affected you physically or spiritually. This early exposure to magic has made it easier for you to work similar magic on your own.

Benefit: Pick one spell when you choose this trait. Whenever you cast that spell, its effects manifest at +1 caster level.

im starting a new druid because my other character died at -31 and i cant rez her because the team dont got the money to get a resurection spell so in a previous post i asked about feats but now thats those are fix
the main problem is i cant realy take Gifted Adept for fireball like i want to cause in the main time when you chose your trait your suposed to be lvl 1 so you dont use fireball for 5 lvl and so the trait is useless for 5 lvl so your likely to take somthing else. Its just a logical question thats worck whit all lvl 2+ spell and. Its also say :

It says "Pick a spell", not "Pick a spell you know", so I would allow it. Even if it didn't, you could look into the Additional Traits feat that would allow you to take this (and another) trait later.

There's no preclusion from taking a spell you can't immediately cast.

That is a really nice trait.
