Is Westcrown what I'm looking for?

Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

I'm playing in a PF Kingmaker campaign on Sundays, and 7th level is looming closer for my character, an Elven Swashbuckler. I've decided to get Leadership as my feat for that level, and have made the motions to get my cohort and potential followers to the campaign area.

However, the GM has asked me where these folks are coming from, so as to guage how long it will take for the message to arrive there, and for them to come to the campaign area.

What I'm looking for is an area with a few elves and a probably larger half-elf population in an area with a temple of Calistria (which is where my future cohort is coming from, being a Cleric of Calistria/Bard).

I've done a little looking on Galariopedia and with a noticable half-elf population in a region that worships Calistria, Westcrown looks to be what I'm looking for. But I want to be sure this is the place before sending the details to my GM.

Is there somewhere else in a faily stable area that might fit my needs?

If so, thanks in adavance.

Well, if you want to swing that, you're likely going to make them go on a mass exodus if your Kingmaker campaign is set in the Stolen Lands. Not only is Westcrown halfway across the continent, Calistria worship is actively banned there, as she's a Chaotic goddess and Westcrown is under House Thrune's edict that Asmodeus is the greatest of all gods. Besides that, there's not much connection between the two places (Westcrown being the site of the Council of Thieves adventure path anyway).

If your cohort's going to be an elf, why not have him/her hail from Kyonin? It's the largest population of elves on Golarion, Calistria is one of the main deities worshipped there, and it's much closer, separated from your lands only by a few River Kingdoms. That said, there are elves and half-elves in the River Kingdoms proper, and being the anarchic place it is, a Calistrian priest wouldn't be too hard to find there either, especially in Gralton where there's a cathedral to her there.

So my suggestion is no, Westcrown's not exactly the place you wanna look for. Kyonin and the River Kingdoms themselves, however, may be more up your alley.

Having looked up Gralton, it does look like the place I'm looking for and fits in with what I had in mind.

again, thanks for the help.

Pitax also has elves, half-elves and either a Cathedral or Temple of Caliastra ...

Cathedral, yes. But Pitax plays a largely antagonistic role in Kingmaker, so I wasn't sure suggesting it was a good idea.

But what does the OP know about Pitax *in character*? ^__^

Assuming they're where I think they are (somewhere in The Varnhold Vanishing adventure), then they'd already be aware of saboteurs being sent by Pitax to undermine their authority, like Grigori.
