I'm just finishing up my new RPG, "Cavemaster" but you know what I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to do next? --A sourcebook, for Pathfinder, featuring the world I designed, called "Quicksilver"! It's psionics and (light) horror.
I've got Mike Nystul (author of "Whispering Vault" and MANY other published RPG titles) on design. The incredibly busy Jeff Dee is lined up for the art. My cover is by Denis Loubet. The project includes an adventure by Jeff Dee.
And, what will I be doing? I'm more a "back seat driver" on this one; I'll be drawing together 20 pages of creature stand-ups.
an example: a Selorian riding dragon top view to cut out, and A-frame. You can use the flat version to place minis on its back.

I know my video is horrid but I hope you'll forgive me because I've been so hard at work getting Cavemaster out.
Please, won't you be my knight in shining armor and help make my dream a gaming "reality" by backing this project?

With Pathfinder we're very used to top quality 3rd party products. Without giving us something so that we can see your quality and your understanding of power, several of us are going to be very hesitant to donate.
Also, terms such as "sourcebook" and "psionics" are pretty useless. Telling us it is an adventure, a campaign setting, a book of classes, etc would be much more helpful. Also telling us rather you're using Dream Scarred Press's psionics or doing your own would be helpful as well.
And your comment about the video being poor because you've been working on other stuff really rubs me the wrong way. You're going to come here and ask us for money while simultaneously saying that this is a project you're considering much lower importance than your Cavemaster. (If so, why not just support your own product?) We have to wonder will the product suffer from neglect as much as your video has, because let's face it, a video, in the world of kick starter, is pretty important.
Finally, it only takes a minute to make your addresses into links. Literally. Again, it seems like you don't care very much for this project.
I know I'm coming off as a jerk with those last two paragraphs, and for that I apologize, but it needs to be said, you're hurting yourself, your project, and your reputation if you do things half-assed (or even just give the impression that you're going to do things half-assed).

Everything ShadowcatX said +1.
From what I see, I get that:
a) I don't have an idea what exactly your product is about.
b) Whether you'll conform with DSP's rules. That's important because rules take up a LOT of space.
c) Since you haven't produced anything for PFRPG, I don't know about your quality/grasp of the rules etc.. NOt producing ANYTHING for a system before starting a kickstarter is not particularly wise.
d) Your video being sloppy and uninformative as it is (sorry, but that's the truth), I don't feel enticed to donate my money.
e)Your artworks don't look like they're up to what we get from other 3pps in similar projects.
Sorry, but as of the moment, I don't see you getting any money from me.
I hope you manage to address some of these concerns.
All the best,
EZG

This is the only thing I disagree with you on, End. I've seen a number of good, successful Kickstarters by folks working on systems they hadn't before. It might just be the only or the best way to raise the funds to do that first project, after all. :)
We at 4 Winds Fantasy Gaming haven't yet produced anything for the Mutants & Masterminds game, but that's our first Kickstarter (which is going fairly well, too).

To be fair, isn't Mutants and Masterminds d20 based? (I really don't know, I've never looked at M&M in my life.) Besides that, while you might not have produced for that system specifically you're a well known and well respected name in the area where you have produced work. That helps.

While I am enticed by Jeff Dee and Mike Nystul being on board, and the cover looking great, I agree with most of the sentiments above... I'm not sure I agree that the art isn't up to scratch...
DSP psionics?
Sourcebook/Campaign or Adventures?
Intrigued but left feeling flat. Make a more informative vid, get back to us and blow us away!
