A friend, and a player of mine has been hard at work coding a little app for Android, a spelldirectory which will let you easily keep track of spells memorized, as well as quickly look up spell descriptions imported directly out of the SRD.
This was originally built for our group, as we have a lot of casters(and programmers) with Android phones, so the mobility and ease-of-use really came in handy in our games and saved a lot of time flipping through books or fiddling with laptops. But I and some of the others urged him to release it on the market, so others could benefit from the work he's put down.
So he's done just that. I present to you the Pathfinder Spelldirectory, for Android version 2.2 and upwards. It will work on any Android phone as well as tablets, and is completely free with no strings attached.
It's an excellent resource for your games, if you have any android users I'd strongly advice you to tell them to look it up.
I can attest to that it's quite good for DMs as well, as it has features to let you keep track of several characters, which can be very nice for NPCs, or just to quickly look up spell effects.
Unfortunately, it's not available for Iphone or Ipad, as it would require a port, and we're not entirely sure if the Iphone market would even accept it, as it's quite restrictive.
Hope you and your groups can find as much use for this as we have!

I am the creator of this application, and a good friend of the OP. I just awnted to mention that this app is completely free, and that it is registered under the Paizo Community Use Policy.
Also, if anyone has questions, feedback or whatnot I will happily read such. Either here, or on my mail zzoranor@gmail.com.
Thanks to those who try it out! I still have a bunch of features I want to add to it when time allows :)

This looks pretty awesome. If I may make a feature request though...
My group plays with Core only, so all of the spells listed from non-Core are just clutter for me. It'd be really awesome if there were an easy way to filter out spells based on source. Once that's in there, it'd also be nifty if you cited the source for each spell as part of its description, but the filter is the big thing for me.

It is on the list of things to do. I am looking to create a view where you can simply choose, with checkboxes, what sources you want to include. Apparently however I had not included the source field in the initial database files, and for this reason this feature will be a bit delayed, since updating the database files included in the app will currently cause a wipe of people's characters. So I have some things to sort before I can add the sources.
That said, I sent you a PM with a link to a signed apk of the app holding ONLY the core spells. Installing that will wipe your created characters tho. And you should probably put the app on manual update should it turn up in google play, otherwise you might end up downloading a new version with the full set of spells.

I really want to play with this as just about every character I play is a spellcaster.
My only problem is I have a Kindle Fire and so I cannot download from google play since I cannot place my Kindle Fire as one of the devices and I do not own an android smartphone.
Not a problem. The app is free, so there is no reason you can't get it from other sources. I haven't actually tested it on a Kindle Fire, so I'm very interested in feedback regarding if it works well.
I'll send you a download link by PM.

Thank you very much. So far it works beautifully on Kindle Fire and I have encountered no problems. I already like how I can group spells by character and I don't have to switch classes to access all of my spells.
So I already am planning to make this my spellbook app. Thank you for putting this out to all of us.
