You don't, because there's no point.
You don't get feats, skills, HPs or ability scores from the form you choose, and that's really all that's affected by a creatures HD
You add the adjustments to YOUR ability scores, calculate bonus damage and saves and stuff based on those new scores etc. You get some of the special abilities of the form you choose, as described in the beast shape spell. You also get the landspeed of the new form and all its attacks (but you use your own str to calculate damage and attack).
