For the past two weeks I have been hiking the AT I plan on getting to Maine some time in late august. I have been thinking about my gear and how awesome it would be if I had a few items from pathfinder with me on the trail.
1.handy Haversack. No explanation needed.
2. Ring of sustenance. Food is most of what I am carrying and not needing to eat and still have energy to move would be great.
3. Ring of regeneration. blisters knee pain this damn cut on my pinky from cutting up the pepperoni gone in a few rounds. Very nice.
4. Instant fortress. I love my hubba but packing up in the rain sucks hard. Also when I get to the shelter and 6 smelly dudes who snore can suck it when I am in my tower.
5. Boots of striding and springing. Go faster and I bet they are comfy.
6. Vorpal Sword. I figured if I am going to make a list of magic items I wish I had I should but this on there. Plus the dude who has been rolling hikers in the red truck in GA would have something to worry about.
Any way I need to sleep and charge my phone need to make 14 miles tomarrow. I would love to hear more ideas for magic items that would make hiking 2181 miles easier. If you interested and hearing more I am on Facebook kevin d smitter. I wont be on for a while but I'll friend anyone and hay if its lame you can unfriend me.

Bag of holding or a portable hole. Yes, volume does matter.
Decanter of endless water/endless beer.
Periapt of health. Hiking can really SUCK when you suddenly fall sick.
Anything that gives you protection from cold and/or heat.
Hmmm... Gwenhwyvar was a great idea, but panther isn't the best part. A human of the appropriate sex would be far better, and because it's a figurine, you can disappear him/her when you want.
