If you ever played Alpha Centauri (from Firaxis), do you remember the Data Pirates? These were a group of anarchist cyber hackers whose access to information could make or break kings.
Translating that idea to a magical world, we're probably looking at a CN (maybe including TN, CG, and CE) global underground society of Diviners (and maybe Bards) who learn everyone's secrets and sell them to the highest bidder (or use them for other purposes). Could something like that exist in Golorian?

I don't see why not. I designed an NPC, submitted for consideration to the next issue of Wayfinder, that does that for a living. He's a multi-class diviner/rogue. Now he's not malicious, so he's perfectly willing to take payment from a person not to reveal their secrets. If he takes payment for that, he'll abide by the agreement. After all, he's a businessman; cheating clients is bad for business. However, if someone offers him something of more value for the info, he'll sell, but not before contacting the person and allowing them to outbid the offer.
Granted, we're talking a high risk job here. An organization like that needs to defend themselves. They could do well enough with blackmail material, but they'll need to plan for those that will try to take them out before they can reveal their secrets. Chances are a lot of people in that organization will quietly disappear, victims of groups like the Red Mantis and others.
