This will be for PFS. Half-elf for proficiency in the weapon
Right now, I'm considering a couple of options:
1) Falcata+buckler, with a domain/inquisition that grants rage
2) Falcata+buckler, with animal (feather) domain
3) Fauchard+Combat reflexes, with eventual rage
4) Fauchard+Combat reflexes, with animal (feather) domain
5) Dervish dance, probably not half-elf here because proficiency is doable through diety.
Falcata+buckler is for the extra AC with the option to be able to 2-hand it, and the higher damage output of the 19-20/x3 crit range. Eventual plan is for heavy armor proficiency except in the case of dervish dance. I'll probably just take a +1 Keen weapon and GMW the thing to keep up with the bonus while allowing other enchantments.
Any recommendations? The fauchard will have lower AC, but it might not be necessary if things are hit on the way in. The falcata will work better with the anger inquisition because hitting something back will rely on a cestus with a fauchard.

At the moment I am playing a Taldorian Inquisitor of Erastil of Taldorian Origin fighting in the Rondolero style (no Feats yet) with the feather domain and wielding Falcata and Buckler. All I can say is, other people do damage, I eradicate things.
The best part is, in the group are a Paladin and a Cavalier with the Swordlord shool and in the beginning they sneered at me. Not anymore.

My advice would be to ditch the whole buckler and falcatta thing. If you're worried about AC there are plenty of spells and your judgment you can cast to buff yourself.
I play a lvl 6 half-orc melee Inquisitor in PFS with the Feather domain and an ankylosaurius in full-plate barding animal companion (grabbed boon animal companion). Using a falchion, his companion to flank, and bane he is dishing out great DPR while having amazing skill bonuses and identifying nearly every monster.
For me it's personal preference to focus on DPR over AC and you save yourself a feat which can be used for heavy armor prof. by sticking with a two-handed falchion.

Okay, here's the build. This is for PFS play to soak up low-level mods I run or to jump in with a low-level party.
Race: Half-Elf
Class: Inquisitor (Witch Hunter), Animal (Feather) domain
Str 16+2, levels 4 and 8 here, belt here
Dex 12
Con 14
Int 12
Wis 14, headband here
Cha 7, level 12 bump here
Traits: Adopted (Glory of Old), Dirty Fighter
Feats:
1) Heavy Armor Proficiency
1) Exotic Weapon Proficiency (Falcata)
3) Power Attack
3) Shake It Off
5) Boon Companion
6) Outflank
7) Cornugon Smash
Spells:
Orisons: Detect Magic, Light, Resistance, Stabilize,
Level 1 (2/day): Divine Favor, Protection from Evil.
The basic idea here is magic fullplate, magic falcata with lots of different qualities on it for GMW'ing. Next level 1 spell learned will be Expeditious Retreat, probably. Masterwork intimidation tool (eerie facepaint/demon mask) helps shore up the 7 charisma.
Any final words of advice? He might accrue his first exp point tomorrow.

Hey since this is a pfs build advice. I play an inquisitor same god dom. faction. Well mine is 11, so I would like to suggest waitibg on the armor prof rill you can affors some mithril fullplate, i would also suggest getting your acp down. I went the road of mobility and whirlwind attack to really open the bane up. Expeditois retreat is amazing with this feat tree. I also picked up one level of fighter for the armor proficency and the bab for the combat feats.

The build looks good. I'm not a huge fan of the witch-hunter, as I would prefer discern lies in PFS over just about anything else. Keep in mind that if you only apply GM credits for the time being, the build doesn't have to be set in stone.

Yeah, I'm still kind of on the fence about Discern Lies vs. better saves vs. spells, but I kinda figure that the bonus to sense motive will see me through in style. Especially when paired with a masterwork tool. (Magic 8 ball. Shake it, ask "did that sound right to you?" "Outlook not good.") Sure, feels a little cheesy, but it allows some fun role-playing.
